Luis Scola is the starting power forward for the Houston Rockets. He was born on April 30, 1980 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was the MVP of the Euroleague with the ACB`s Saski Baskonia.
In 2005, Scola was drafted by the San Antonio Spurs. There was trouble with his buyout from Baskonia, so the Spurs signed Farbricio Oberto instead. On July 12, 2007, the Rockets acquired rights to Scola along with Jackie Butler for Vassilis Spanoulis, a future 2nd round pick, and cash considerations. His buyout was resolved and signed a 3 year contract with the Rockets for $9.5 million. He was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team. He scored 44 points (career high) against the Nets on March 13, 2010.
He has been the Spanish League MVP twice (2005, 2007). He has been on the All-Euroleague First Team (2006, 2007). Since he joined the Rockets, he is averging 13.1 ppg, 7.9 rpg, and 1.6 apg. He is shooting 52% from the field and 74% from the line.

Luis Scola is one of the most recognized Argentinian basketball players. Anta has rewarded him with his very own Argentinian PE.
The color scheme represents the Argentinian flag. White leather is used throughout the upper, and white patent leather is used on the toe box. A laser-etched, monochromatic design, inspired by Scola, is used on the entire back quarter of the heel. A tonal light blue tone is used sparingly on the outsole, inner liner and branding while a very fitting yellow tone is used on the laces.

Luis Scola is outfitted with a new all red model. His new new sig features white and yellow accents that match perfectly with both Houston uniforms.
The shoe features “LOVE CHINA” across the eyestay mimicking the Rockets official font, China’s “+8610″ country calling code is embroidered on the collars, and silver text wraps the entire ankle area listing every major accomplishment from Scola’s career including being a Gold Medalist in the 2004 Olympics in Athens.
